Our services in detail

Most forklift and fork truck batteries are made from 2V cells linked together in a steel tray. We supply complete traction batteries and loose 2V cells to suit your truck, voltage and capacity.
Choose from new batteries, backed by the manufacturer’s warranty, or from our large selection of used batteries when budget or a short term need makes more sense.

A battery is only as strong as its weakest cell. If one cell fails, run times fall and the charger struggles to bring the battery back up.
We test each cell, find the ones at fault and replace them individually. This can return a battery to full working order for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Acid residue and corrosion on top of a battery can cause current to leak between cells, damage the tray and make the battery unsafe to handle.
We clean batteries of corrosion and residue, check connectors and leave the battery in a safe, tidy condition that is easier to inspect.

Lead acid traction batteries need regular topping up with water. Doing it cell by cell is slow and easy to get wrong.
We supply and fit auto fill systems that top up every cell to the correct level in one go, saving time and protecting the battery from over or under filling.

The right charger, working properly, is essential to battery life. We supply battery chargers and repair chargers that have developed faults.
Using computerised charging and discharge testing equipment, we can see how a battery performs under load and recommend the right course of action.

Regular servicing catches small problems before they stop a truck. Battery levels are checked and topped up, connections inspected and the battery cleaned.
Any damage is noted and reported so you have a clear record of each battery’s condition and can plan repairs or replacements in good time.

White or green build up around terminals and connectors.
The charger shows faults or the battery will not reach full charge.
